Stephen Scourfield is a regular public speaker and presenter on writing, photography, travel, cultures, landscape issues and makes appearances as an after-dinner speaker.

• Indian Ocean Forum (on writing and culture, particularly Indian and Aboriginal)
• FACET, Forum Advocating Cultural & Eco Tourism (on Perth – a changing cultural landscape)
• The Warlu Way Conference (Ningaloo, Pilbara, Burrup, Kimberley drive trail)
• Kimberley Society (the Kimberley region of WA)
• The Country Women's Association (Vietnam)
• Karrakatta Club (Other County and other titles, and also a talk on Lesotho)
• NEWROC book club, Bonnie Rock (Other County and other titles)
