Stephen Scourfield plays mandolin, classical guitar, steel string guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar and violin. He is an experienced bushman with a particular passion for desert regions and a good knowledge of savannah landscape and flora.
He rides a motorcycle daily, and paddles ocean kayaks, whitewater kayaks and surf skis.
He lives with wife, artist Virginia Ward, son, Max, and faithful dog Lasseter in Perth, Western Australia. He retains strong roots in Worcestershire, England, the place of his childhood and where his extended family lives.
He is widely travelled in remote areas and is a keen landscape photographer. He is a long-term collector of themes and ideas and is a storyteller. |
